By accessing or using RankedBall ("the platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
RankedBall is a league management platform for basketball communities. It provides tools to create and manage leagues, seasons, teams, players, game results, standings, ELO ratings, tiers, and badges. The platform also supports subscription billing and payment collection through Stripe.
You must create an account to use most features of the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not create accounts for others without their permission or impersonate another person.
You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose of managing basketball leagues and related activities. You may not:
League administrators are responsible for the content and conduct within their leagues. This includes managing team rosters, verifying player eligibility, and ensuring game results are accurate.
RankedBall provides the tools but does not referee disputes between league members. Administrators are expected to handle disputes within their league.
You retain ownership of the content you upload to the platform (logos, banners, player data, game results). By uploading content, you grant RankedBall a license to store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the platform.
We do not claim ownership of your league data. If you delete your account or league, we will remove associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Some features of the platform require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing cycles are displayed at the time of purchase.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
If you use the platform to collect fees from league members, you are responsible for compliance with applicable tax and financial regulations in your jurisdiction.
We aim to keep the platform available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, update features, or modify the platform at any time.
We reserve the right to discontinue features or change pricing with reasonable notice.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior, with or without notice depending on severity.
RankedBall is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability for any claim related to the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the platform or sending you an email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
