Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

League and game data

We store data you enter into the platform, including league details, team rosters, player profiles, game scores, schedules, standings, and related content such as logos and banners you upload.

Payment information

If you subscribe to a paid plan or collect fees through the platform, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.

Usage data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, browser type, device type, IP address, and referring URLs.

• To operate and maintain the platform

• To calculate standings, ELO ratings, tiers, and badges

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• With your league: Information you add to a league (player name, team, stats) is visible to other members of that league and, if the league is public, to anyone viewing the league page.
• Service providers: We use third-party services to operate the platform (hosting, email delivery, payment processing). These providers access your data only to perform services on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days. League data you contributed may be retained in anonymized form to preserve league history.

Multi-tenant isolation

Each league on RankedBall is isolated at the data layer. League administrators can only access data within their own league. We enforce tenant boundaries at the application and database level to prevent cross-league data access.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you are in a jurisdiction with data protection laws (such as GDPR or CCPA), you have additional rights including data portability and the right to object to processing.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
